Guadalajara Orphanage Needs More Help

On September 2-4,1999, Dr. Scott Healey; his assistant, Evige Johansen; and Robyn Furse, RDH, had the opportunity to travel to Guadalajara and serve the children in the casa Hogar La Estancia De Maria Orphanage. We treated approximately 50 children. It was a choice experience to share our expertise with children who would not otherwise have had dental care. Their hugs, smiles, and tears of appreciation, as well as their pleas not to be forgotten, are forever imprinted in our minds. We each felt humbled and blessed by the experience, and we encourage any and all who are interested to participate in service activities like this. Your life will never be the same. Please contact Dr. Scott Healey or Dr. Dale Linton if you are interested in serving in the orphanages in Guadalajara.

The Guadalajara Mexico Orphanage Project is in need of two slow speed handpieces and one titan scaler. If anyone would like to donate these items, please contact Scott Healey, DMD, at 801-785-0584.
