Dr. R. Leon Clark, DDS, whose wife is Peggy, is the father of nine children four of whom are adopted Korean boys. Dr. Clark attended Weber State University from 1955–1957 and Brigham Young University from 1959–1960, after which he attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and received his DDS degree in 1964. After dental school he served as a captain in the United States Air Force, performing dentistry in Anchorage, Alaska, from 1964–1967. Afterward he practiced dentistry for 28 years in Northridge, California and was an independent dental contractor until 2001. Leon has served in seven bishoprics and once as bishop. After he retired in early 2001, Leon and Peggy began humanitarian dental work in the Philippines, Tonga, Ethiopia, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Korea. They love serving and will continue as long as their health and finances allow. They have had some marvelous experiences and feel those experiences have changed the way they look at life. Dr. Roy A. In addition to maintaining a successful practice and a variety of professional memberships, Dr. Hammond is an annual volunteer and founding member of the Smiles of Life Foundation, a children’s charity organization of the Crown Council (national organization of leading edge dentists).
