Dentists of Mexico Taught

On June 6,7,8, 2001 Gordon Christensen, of Provo, Utah, Michael Christensen of Kenora, Ontario Canada and Scott Healy of Lindon, Utah all of whom are members of the Academy spent one day in each of three large Mexican Cities speaking on new concepts in dentistry. The Academy of LDS Dentists was one of the sponsors of these programs along with two commercial dental firms.

In Mexico, City there were 600 dentists in attendance; Guadalajara had about 300 attendees and Monterey had about 300 attendees. The programs were well received, and the LDS Church received recognition among these many professionals.

Elder Coleman of the First Quorum of the Seventy visited the program and congratulated the Academy for its service. Gordon explained that the continuation and expansion of other similar programs is enormous.
