Spouses' Report
WOW! Was that a great conference or what? So many of you mentioned how
much you enjoyed each and every speaker and/or presenter. Hopefully, we
can hear from some of them again in future years. I hope you put on your
evaluation forms your preferences and suggestions for next year...
Many thanks to Stacia and her crew from BYU Conferences and Workshops.
They did a great job! Also, Steve Trost who has been a familiar
face for so long is leaving us for greener (or just 'other') pastures.
Thanks to him for all his work in the past and good luck to him in his
new endeavors.
Anne, Kari, Donna and Cathi...thanks for all your help, ideas, time, money,
etc. and other endeavors. You all helped so much to make this a great
conference. It was so fun to see all the familiar faces. Hopefully, I'll
remember a few more names next year. Speaking of which...several of you
told us of people you know who do presentations--including some of our
own! We may be seeing some of those faces next year up front giving some
of the presentations. We'll keep you informed as soon as we (Stacia, actually)
start locking things in. I'm getting excited already!!
I would also like to give special thanks to Sister Mildred Earl and to
my daughter, Jennifer, for that beautiful musical number that put us in
the perfect mood to listen to and glean from Brother Pinegar. I could
have listened to him all day!
By the way, don't forget your missionary work--talk to your friends and
let's get the conference over 600 for the men and over 250 for the spouses.
Just inviting your friends really helped with the enrollment this year.
Have a great year!
Sincerely,
Torrie Klomp, President
