Hygienists Corner

The activities of the hygienists within the Academy have been very rewarding this past year. Seven hygienists had the opportunity to be members of the teams that worked in the San Marcos Dental School in Lima, Peru. It was a rich experience that will long be remembered and cherished by all that participated.  Also, this is the first year that the Academy awarded scholarships to dental hygiene students. Appreciation is expressed in behalf of these students to the Academy for it's support of the dental hygiene profession. Doctors, thank you for your support and please remember to include your hygienist in your humanitarian service efforts.
